Alright, let’s clear out the cobwebs with a small contest.
Bloggers adding themselves to Grokodile during the month of Aug-2008 will be entered in a draw for $50.
The fine print…
Only quality blogs, those that survive the review process, will result in an entry!
Sweepstakes entered by submitting your US or Canadian blog.
Prize will be paid via PayPal… so you must have an account to claim your winnings.
Contest results will be published, here, during the first week of September.

Hi Glenn,
I’m sorry, we are focused on developing the North American section of the directory at the current time.
While you can add international items to the directory they won’t qualify for our sweepstakes.

We prefer blogs in English so that we can preview them, but if your blog can easily be seen to be of decent quality and resides in a country that predominantly speaks spanish, then it’s fine.
The only trick is that we don’t have anyone fluent in Spanish… so if there is a lot of advertising, affiliate links, extremely long loading times or other things of that nature we’ll err on the side of caution.

SWEEPSTAKES UPDATE:
We’ve gone through the process of collecting entries and holding a random draw.
However, we’re having trouble getting in touch with the sweepstakes winner. We’ve sent an email and left a message on their blog — but if we don’t hear from them in a few days we’ll move on to the runner up.
